About Me

- Name: anothercpsvictim
This is one mother's photo log of the life she shared with her first born and only child for 10 years, before he was "legally" kidnapped by the State, declared an "abused and neglected" child, thrown into the home of strangers, and drugged into submission.
Each month, on or around the 1st, one or more photos will be added in celebration of the life Ty lived before his CPS invasion. The photos will not be posted in chronological order by date taken, but will be posted and archived by the 1st day of the appropriate month and year, for example: [Photo Entry 08-01-06]. Celebrate and Enjoy, we sure did!!!

Eagerly awaiting the greenlight from Mom to get dressed for this years fright night

The Spook Fest is about to begin!!!

Enter, if you dare

Inside the dungeon of terror

Lots of creepy crawlies ... time for our annual spooky affair
As usual, I am the one behind the camera lens. Nevertheless, I am always dressed to scare and terrorize the unsuspecting. With a spooky cassette playing in the background and other visual effects not shown in the photos, our apartment was often too frightening for many little tots.

Although toys are not allowed at school, I always manage to sneak one in my backpack! And, I don't have to tuck my shirt in because I'm back at home.

Hip-Hip-Hooray!!! The day is over ... what took you so long to pick me up??!!

One big row of hugs until we see each other again ... tomorrow

Marching downhill to the pick-up spot

Hopefully this year, there will be less horseplay and more ...

Receiving of Awards!!!

Alrighty ... hurry up with this, so that I can sit back down!

The only child in my class, this semester, to make Honor Roll!!! The top can sure be a lonely place at times.
As a single parent, this is usually a very stressful time of year. There are clothes, shoes, school uniforms and supplies to be purchased ... and fees to be paid! And ohhh yes … tuition to pay, for so many parents with children in independent or parochial schools. For me, it is usually time to put on my chauffeur’s hat and resume my roll as Chauffeur Extraordinaire – while juggling the roles of mom and employee. But this was a personal choice I made when I decided that the school bus was too unsafe or I simply chose to ignore the fact that the bus does not pick up children from "his school." I guess the obvious assumption is that moms with children in independent schools do not work. Naturally, most single moms would have chosen to take the path of least resistance, but not me ... Ohhh no, not me (LOL!!!). Instead of putting Ty in public school in the neighborhood, which would have saved me time and money, I chose to pay for before and aftercare services.
My choice to enroll Ty in an independent school was something that simply needed to be done. I knew at an early age that he was extremely gifted and, like a sponge, would absorb EVERYTHING I threw his way. This included math, reading, spelling, and even Spanish. Hopefully, his cognitive skills have not been diminished by the mind-altering drugs forced on him by CPS and his "care" provider, which she insists that he calls her mom. My decision to enroll him in an independent school was not made for social clout or status – it was a decision made because Ty is/was an exceptionally gifted child, who likewise needed to be in an exceptionally challenging and enriched environment, surrounded by children with parents that work as hard as I do to make sure that their children receive a quality education … both at home and at school. Nevertheless, it was not always easy to pay for tuition, and childcare in two separate facilities! Well, enough about us.
For thousands of parents, this time of year presents a hollowness ... an emptiness unimaginable or inconceivable for most. There will be no yellow school bus stopping at their homes -- nor are they allowed to sit at their child’s school, with other parents, while waiting for the 2:30 end-of-day bell to ring. You see, these parents were declared “abusive and/or negligent” by a juvenile court judge – with or without an opportunity to defend themselves against the allegations and without the other benefits of due process. As a result, so many of us have been court-ordered to stay away from our children -- this, of course, being in the "best interest of the child."
In our homes, there is simply a deafening silence which was once filled with childhood innocence and laughter. Boy, you can not imagine how much I miss hearing “Mommy I want this … mommy, buy me that … Do I have to do my homework now, or can I go outside first … Mommy, Mom-Meeeeh, MOMMY!!!”
To all parents blessed to still have the little gifts that God gave you, kiss them everyday … hug them everyday … and relax enough to enjoy them; because you never know when CPS will show up at the front door and take them away.
I heard an attorney on CNN say “Children are NOT your right, they are a privilege.” I guess she’s right, if you live in the United States of America or communist China!
